Located on the south shore of Montreal, this family outdoor kitchen was designed for a young couple and their twins. The client wanted a space where they could watch the children in the pool while enjoying their 4-season outdoor kitchen.

The large U-shaped kitchen was tailored to meet the family's specific needs. The design integrates a Kamado Joe, a durable gas barbecue, and side burners for versatile cooking options like making sauces or boiling pasta.

To avoid frequent trips indoors, the kitchen includes a sink and a refrigerator, ensuring that everything can be prepared and enjoyed outside during the summer.
The maximized interior corners provide plenty of storage space for outdoor sofa cushions. A small server near the table, located two levels lower on the terrace, offers additional storage for summer accessories.
Despite the challenge of fitting the kitchen between three walls and accommodating a floor on two levels, the layout was optimized for functionality. The bar side is one step lower, and a guardrail for the steps was cleverly integrated with flower boxes that coordinate with the kitchen's signature panels.
The countertops, made of Laos-colored Dekton, were chosen for their natural appearance, which imitates slate. This creates a beautiful contrast with the white cabinets and blends wonderfully with the house. For the lunch counter, a 20 mm thickness was recommended to avoid the need for additional support underneath.
